The Nostalgia Critic reviews The Star Wars Holiday Special.

Sheesh, next time someone says the prequel trilogy was bad, they should watch THAT. Just goes to prove that not EVERYTHING needs a Christmas special, especially one that can't keep some of it's own continuity in order.

And to think George Lucas himself is ashamed of it. And he's proud of a lot of things. Even the Clone Wars cartoons.

Well, the Critic shares his pain with us, so give this a look if you wanna suffer alongside him.

Anyway, today starts the first of FOUR DAYS OF 8-HOUR SHIFTS AT WORK. I'm being told by mom and her boyfriend the positives of it all, but frankly I don't give two hoots about the money and whatnot if I have to work on CHRISTMAS DAY. However I was able to talk my manager into giving me a one-hour break so I can join my family for the holiday dinner that's planned. But the fact I'm working that day in general and the fact I have to do the exact same shift the next day after is more then enough to want to push me to find a new job in 2010. Working on Christmas is just a deal-breaker for me and they're gonna hear it.

And if they make me work on my birthday January 4th, I'm quitting on the spot.

So I watched all of Final Battle 2009 during the online stream last night. All around a great show, but it did have some flaws.

( Spoilers obviously, but you've probably heard the results by now already. Still... )

Anyway, I'm relaxing now but soon I have to do one out of the five 8-hour shifts I'm doing this week. I'm still trying to do all I can to get SOMETHING remedied about working on Christmas Day, but I'm worried my manager's not gonna allow it. It's looking more and more likely I'm gonna start searching for a new job...

-Classes are nearly over, X-Mas break starts soon and I'll be spendin' that with mah dear ol' daddeh.
-Princess & the Frog is pretty awesome.
-I'm attending MAGFest taking place in Virginia from January 1-3. I'll be announcing cool stuff there along with LittleKuriboh and MasakoX.
-Turning 21 soon, the day before MAGFest. I'm gonna NOT DRINK. YEEEAH.
-Booked my first official voiceover session. I'll be playing a guest character on Pokemon Diamond & Pearl: Galactic Battle probably around February.
-Made a Holiday flash movie on NG, apparantly it's my 100th flash cartoon submitted. Yay?
-Other stuff is in the works, not gonna have a lotta vacaction time to work on such stuff unfortunately. Only got two and a half weeks off.

Wrestling with Predictions: TNA and ROH's Finals [Dec. 18th, 2009|11:19 am]

We've got a double shot of wrestling PPVs this weekend and I've got some predictions ready for them both. So I'm gonna dive first into this set:

Now that I've gotten TNA's event out of the way, I've got a bonus set of predictions for Ring of Honor's Final Battle 2009 which I will be watching this Saturday. So it's only fair that I call how THEIR matches go.

WOO, that's a lot of typing. But I think I made it clear how I'd like to see this weekend of wrestling go down. I hope I'm right for the most part but I can say that they might pull off a better show then WWE TLC, that much I can say for sure.

Now it's about time I did my Christmas shopping and to say goodbye to my paycheck for the week. =P

I lowered my anti-depressants and suddenly I'm able to draw again. All the mind changing might have been due to ideas bouncing around in my head, but no drive to draw due to the medication. Who knows. Anyway, I'm going back into graphic design and drawing; hopefully I'll have stuff to post soon.

The Nostalgia Critic looks at the Top 11 Christmas Specials that precede last year's Top 12 List.

Yeah, it's self-explanatory. Another collection of holiday shows/movies/cartoons that didn't make the cut of his Top 12 list which began with Merry Christmas, Mr. Bean and was capped off by A Christmas Story. This is actually a good list to precede the last one when you consider what's in it.

I have a couple thoughts to share on some of the things he brought up in this list...
